nope...don't get wrong meaning. It's not her wedding yet!! It's her graduation! \(^0^)/The baby of the family finally achieved her degree on 26 Aug 2005.
So all of us went down to SIM on that day to attend her convocation. Well, we all know that convos are boring. Hers is no exception.
I went down early with her to help with wearing of the convo gown, take photos etc. After that just waited for the convo to start/end. It was so boring during the convo that i started drawing...ok, i know that's rude. But hey, at least i wasn't reading newspapers like what some audience did!!
After the convo we pigged out at the reception. Guess what? It's Kriston food!!! In case u are wondering why i'm reacting this way... well... Kriston catering was the one selling food at the Expo in Japan. And their food sucks. I guess they didn't bother preparing good food in Japan since most visitors eating it has not had a chance to try authentic S'pore cuisine yet. Anyway, there were a few edible items at the reception. We occupied ourselves with eating while my sister was busy taking photos with her classmates.
When all was done, we headed down to Chijmes to take more photos, followed by dinner at Gyu-kaku. I love the food there! It's a little pricey but food is quite delicious. Supposed to be a treat by my sister, but she forgot to bring her wallet along...hmm...
That's how my sister celebrated her convocation. I can hardly remember what i did when i graduated....just remember i took lots of photos...but with only that handful of friends...
